Good morning Friends! Honor, praise, and glory belong to God, now and forever. In
celebration, we join the crowds of old, waving branches, giving honor to the Messiah.
Blessed is the One who comes in the Lord's Name.
As you prepare to be filled with God's Spirit, I invite you to create a small altar
where you are. Consider lighting a candle, using fresh flowers, adding photos of
loved ones, and bringing into your space other things that help you experience God.
There will be an opportunity to participate in communion later so you may want to
take time now to gather elements. Prepare a cup or cups of juice - perhaps grape
or cranberry. Set these elements in the living room or where you experience worship
electronically with our faith community.
Once you are ready to begin gather you family around and recite together this prayer:
With great joy we welcome you, Jesus! The journey has been lengthy, and we have longed
to enter the Holy City. Come into our hearts and our lives, humbly, patiently, encouraging
us to learn and grow, to embrace journeys of hope and healing. Amen.
"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious
to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace." Amen.
The Peace of Christ be with you!
