Missionary from Nepal to be guest speaker at the United Church of Christ at Valley Forge, Sunday, April 6th from noon until 2:00 p.m. Dessert and beverages will be provided. Bring a bag lunch.

The United Church of Christ at Valley Forge is pleased to host Dale Nafziger, who has served with Global Ministries for twelve years with the national Churches Fellowship of Nepal. Dale works as Director of Manufacturing of Wonder Products; a juice, handicrafts and trekking food company. He is also CEO of “Top of the World Coffee” for which he purchased and dried their first batch of highland Arabica in December. Dale Nafziger’s appointment is a joint appointment by the Common Global Ministries Board of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ, the Mennonite Mission Network and the Mennonite Central Committee. Dale is married to Bethsaba Nafziger and they recently celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary. They have two daughters, Sushma and Shova. Dale started with the Mennonite Central Committee as a hydroelectric field worker. From 1982-86 Dale served as a graduate research and teaching assistant at Cornell University. He has been in Nepal since 1995, continuing through 2004 as an electrical engineer. He currently serves as a project manager in Nepal. Dale visited with the United Church of Christ at Valley Forge family once before and looks forward to the upcoming reunion. Dale will have a PowerPoint presentation, along with wall maps, posters and photos.
