Our Purpose Statement

The United Church of Christ at Valley Forge, following in the Way of Jesus, is called by God to deepen our relationships with the Spirit and our faith community so that we will be empowered to reach out widely to our neighbors in love, justice, hospitality, healing, and hope.

UCC/VF Open and Affirming Statement of Welcome

We, the members of the United Church of Christ at Valley Forge, in response to Christ's Gospel of unconditional love and command to love one another, welcome into full participation, membership, and leadership, followers of Christ of every race, language, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability and economic or marital status. We commit ourselves to building a community of faith that reflects this welcome, recognizing the call on our lives to submit ourselves to the transforming Spirit of God. Relying on God's grace, we actively seek to extend Christ's welcome into our worship, our prayer life, and our relationships with each other and the wider community.
